Another Move......UGH!!!

Well the condo association came back and said we cannot live at Grandma's condo. They said we are monetary renters and that we are not immediate family to Matt's Grandma. However, if a Grand kid owned the place then a Grandparent would be immediate family. Who knows it is one of there dumb rules.

So... it is back to Montana we go. We will head out in June and come back around August and pick up our stuff at Matt's parent's house.

The Big Move

Well we finally made it to Palos Hills, IL which outside Chicago.
Let me tell you Matt and I have had the biggest journey and we have ran into so many problems.

It all started the day that we picked up the trailer and like our last two moves it had to snow. What a given but this time I mean it really snowed....ALL DAY!!!!
With all the bad weather Matt and I decided to wait one more day to leave so hopefully the roads would be better.
We were so sad to leave Montana. We will miss all the friends we have made and everyone we work with. We will miss the mountains and the outdoors. Also everything the west has to offer.

Our first day on our trip everything was going real good until we got just out of Sheridan, WY when Matt's blazer started smoking. We pulled over and Matt thought his rear differential leaking. That is not good cause it can be lots of money. We made it to Sheridan and the only people we could find to help us was a traveling fix it truck. Come to find out Matt had changed some kind of oil underneath his car and he did not put the cap on all the way so it fell out and it started leaking. Not as bad as what we thought but for a $2 part and some $14 oil it costed us $200. We did make it to our destination that night which was Gillette, WY.

The second day everything is going well except for the crappy weather we ran into on our way to South Dakota. Everything is going well after we make out of the bad weather. We stayed the night some where I just don't remember where obviously I was pretty dang tired.

The third day we get to Sioux Falls and our luck ran out when we got pulled over because Matt did not have a front licence plate on his blazer. We finally make it to Madison, WI. We stayed in the crappiest hotel, I felt like I had bugs crawling me all night.

The fourth day we finally made it to our final destination PALOS HILLS. YEAH I did not want to travel anymore. We get to Matt's Grandpa's condo. With no one living there for like 3 years it needed some cleaning. 2 days after we are getting settled we discover a wet spot on the carpet and come to find out the dishwasher is leaking. We have to hurry and move everything so we can try to get everything taken care of. We got everything taken care of but there is a mildewy smell in our Condo and it is taken me forever to get rid of the smell.

We started working at the Hodgkin's Walmart three days after we rolled into town and man they do things so different and everything is so different. We realize things are going to take time for us to get used to everything. However but our third day of working there I had gone home in tears and Matt had come home pissed off. We definitely hate this Walmart and we are so ready to transfer and we are questioning why we moved out here cause we really aren't saving a whole lot of money for Matt to go flying.

Our weekend finally came at work and Matt and are ready to go to the city for date. Nope we can't do that cause we received a letter from the board of the Condos saying that no one can live in the condos without the owner living there unless you are spouse, grandparent, son, daughter, mother or father of the owner. So now we get to fight the board on this matter but it is all up to them if we get to stay here or not. If it is a no then we have to head back west.

So as you can see we have a lot of drama and we feel like our lives have been on a soap opera. We will keep you posted on what else happens.
